With the Uncanny Avengers relaunching, with a whole new lineup,
One has to wonder if Rick Remender's Uncanny Avengers has completely failed in its mission of pro-cooperation between the X-Men & Avengers and more importantly combating mutant bigotry and prejudice.
What had the Uncanny Avengers done to combat mutant prejudice?
How have the Uncanny Avengers helped the mutant community in their socio-political issues?
Was it all just a glorious Mary-Sue fanwank for Wanda Maximoff?
And now we have a NEW lineup. Once again it's called the "Unity Squad."
Unity?
There's only ONE damn X-Man on that team. And Rogue will likely be Gretchen Winters to Wanda Maximoff's Regina George; constantly supporting/affirming/defending/licking the ground she walks, so Wanda can keep her Mary Sue status.
Quicksilver gives two sh*ts about mutant rights.
And what better PR for mutant relations then notorious serial killer/rapist/mass murderer/terrorist/cannibal then effing Sabretooth. I'm sure mutant right advocacy groups will definitely see him as a role model for children to aspire to.
Has Rick Remender admitted defeat? That his Unity Squad was a hot a$$ mess?
That it completely failed it's mission?
And that it has no business poaching the "Uncanny" byline of the X-Men?
