    Default DC snags David LaFuente

    From the Batman: Eternal solicitations:

LaFuenete's a great artist who's mostly worked for Marvel and is best-known for Ultimate Spider-Man. This is a good get!

Ooh great catch. Love his Spidey work. Actually made him feel like a teen while in costume. And that was the "Hero High" era, with all the various characters attending school together. He'd be great on a Titans-esque title.

Perfect for a Tim Drake Robin title, at least the way Dixon wrote it.

Yes. Red Robin solo would rock my socks.

He's good, but I don't think his art is anything particularly unique. Nothing bad, but nothing special. And I'd prefer DC "snag" more A+ level writers; DC has an already great cache or artists, they don't really have much to add in that department (that said, new artists are always welcome). Likewise, they have a great cache of writers too, but also a couple of really awful ones.

Nice, thought his work on Doop was good.

    And Joe Quinones on 41-42

DC continuing to improve focus on art, this pleases me.

I haven't been enjoying Batman Eternal very much though, more art diversity and focus thereof is great but that's still only part of the whole.

Yeah, Quinones is awesome, but he's been working for DC pretty regularly so it didn't stand out as much to me. I'll definitely take him on anything though!

I've been loving Eternal, and the diversity of art styles has been a huge part of that.
