i'm trying to remember a movie

I'm pretty sure the lead was female with a male co-star

It had to do with solving some sort of puzzle and at one point i remember them being in a parking garage

I am fairly certain that solving the puzzle made you go crazy and kill a person and or people.

I am pretty sure it was from the 90s but not sure what year.
