I really liked it, but it was DENSE. There was so much information to get across that I never got to know or care about any of the characters other than Honor. The art was pretty but stiff. It looked like concept art for videogames. Linda Sejic is supposed to take over art duties with the next arc, so I'm excited about that. I'm loving her on Wildfire.

The stiffness actually made it better form me for some reason. Granted if there were more ground battles with more details it would hurt but it really made the space battles look amazing. I love background inf, so it suited me just fine. As for the story it's nice to have a democracy as opponent for the bad guys, i admit the politics of the book might turn some people off but it's not heavy handed. the humanitarian intervention and religious manipulation are nice touches. Also the pace combatwas exciting despite the fact that it has a more realistic feel (opponents not seeing eachother soo on).
