I'm so happy this thread popped up lol
I think it's the 1966 Spider-Man annual that has Spidey reimagined as other comics characters...Dick Tracy, Archie Andrews, L'il Abner, Superman and---Mickey Mouse!
Spider-Ham showing up in Ducktales??
not only do I want this, I started a thread on it on rpg.net
https://forum.rpg.net/index.php?thre...iverse.843744/
Just as Planned.
Probably already mentioned, but Gargoyles have got to show up in Marvel's New York. Got to. Spider-Man swinging with the Manhattan Clan, Xanatos and Kingpin scheming, Goliath discussing battle strategies with Captain America, Dr. Strange taking on Oberon, the possibilities are endless!
"I am a man of peace."
"A man of peace...who fights like ten tigers."
you know, that actually is one property i could totally see being incorporated into the MU. It may need to be tweaked a little, but not much, really. Maybe have Dr Strange get involved, or something... and it's not like Disney is even doing anything with it right now...
The best (most outrageous) way for Disney to bridge those two Universes would be to reintroduce the Marvel created Star Hoppers: (prety much the first (after Splinter) expanded U creations)
They are for better or worse, what the first joining of the creative minds of Lucas and Marvel(house of ideas) wrought.
Have them be the first to hop between universes, into the Marvel U to meet the Guardians of The Galaxy...
Maybe in an animated U...
Team up:
Starkiller Kid - Star Lord
Amaiza - Gamora
Jaxxon - Rocket
Hedji - Groot
Effie - Drax
Kihotay - Mantis
It's funny Lucas suposedly hated the idea of Jaxxon, yet two decades later brought out Jar-Jar?
Pretty much Jaxxon and Don-Wan [Qui]Kioti became Jarjar and Qui-Gon.

You said Probably already mentioned? LOL
Did you not recognize Xanatos ^ posted right above you? : p
Yeah this is potentially one of the most anticipated.
Although they have to bring back the franchise in some form.
Xanatos would really fit in nice as a Marvel villain.
I'de go further and extend ties to Disney's Chernabog
Also would love to see the different Clans somehow incorporated into the history of the Marvel U.
Obviously the Wyvern/Avalon Clan survivors.
The Mayan Clan:
The Ishimura/ Bushido Clan
etc...

Yes, the Star Wars stories occurred long, long ago. But the Force isn't only timeless, it's ever renewing -- depending on which interpretation of the Force that you accept. In theory, it should exist in the "here and now." The Force requires some kind of balancing dualities, so I would think there may yet exist beings who are helping to maintain that equilibrium. It's just a question of whether or not Disney really wants to go there. (It's a safe bet that they don't. Best to keep their franchises separate.)

I grew up reading Marvel comics starring licensed characters like Conan, Rom the Spaceknight, the Shogun Warriors, Godzilla and the Micronauts, many of them explicitly in the Marvel universe, fighting alongside (or just fighting, in Godzilla's case...) people like the X-Men, the Hulk and the Avengers.
So, yeah, I'm okay with the notion that the infinite Marvel universe has force-users, or that the Exiles could bop into a world where genies and Agrabah is real, mermaid princesses live under the sea, or there are Gargoyles in New York.
My peanut butter's been all mixed up with my chocolate for decades now, and even the 'vanilla' MCU has zombies and aliens and wizards and clones and gods of myth and cosmic space entities and mutants and time travelers and alternate universe refugees and vampires and a bunch of different humanoid races living on Earth (humans, mutants, Deviants, Eternals, Inhumans, moloids, Atlanteans, Serpent Folk, Magma Men, New Men animal hybrids, a half-dozen others in the Savage Land, etc.), so it's always been a crazy melange.
Yes. Yes to *everything.*
Even sarcastic and / or murderous talking ducks, raccoons and dogs, apparently.
someone should search Disney's character catalog to find a few characters that can be credibly updated and fit the Marvel Universe.
I think we covered some of those ideas in the X-forums :
