If I'm him, I beg the show runners to split Winds of Winter into two seasons so he can finish the books before the series ends. But that ship might have sailed.

I think that shocked everyone. Because she was the obvious candidate for new sexual exotic women who can get naked every two minutes and have a sex scene.

Arianne is a major character in the story as opposed to the Sand Snakes. She actually is instrumental in moving a story along. I don't see why she was left out. Then again this show really isn't following the books that closely, it is a very loose adaptation.
