I definitely have no problem with skip months. I'm happy to see more books implementing them over fill in issues.
There's nothing wrong with skip months. It's not like I can't go back and read a previous issue if I forgot what happened. Quality over quantity and a chance to check out new titles. My list:
The Dying and the Dead 1 (Love these over-sized deals)
IXth Generation 1 (Didn't know this was coming so soon)
Alex + Ada 12
Birthright 4
Copperhead 5
Deadly Class 11
Death Vigil 7
East of West 17
Nailbiter 9
Rat Queens 11
Revival 27
Shutter 8
Southern Bastards 7
They're Not Like Us 2
The Wicked + Divine 7
Witchblade 182
Wytches 4
No Manhattan Projects, but fine with me. Gives the creative team a rest, and my wallet a rest as well. I don't know why people get upset over skipped months.
currently reading: Dept. H, Hellboy in Hell, Kaijumax, Moon Knight
I don't mind skip months at all either. It's not like there aren't 5 or 10 other books from Image I want to check out when others are taking breaks.

So I am super pumped for Rumble and Tooth and Claw. I was realizing recently that though I like many Image series, there are just a few I truly love, and those two look like they could be special (as opposed to say "Drifter" which looks gorgeous but not like something that will probably be amazing, though I could be wrong). So what other new series are people looking forward to?
Anne Bonnie, Princess Ugg, Five Ghosts, Saga, Rat Queens, Groo, Goon, Usagi Yojimbo, Sixth Gun, Wasteland, Courtney Crumrin, Jonah Hex, Walking Dead, Manifest Destiny, God Hates Astronauts, Spread, Fearless Dawn, Nailbiter, Copperhead, Stray Bullets, Birthright, Bone, Lazarus
The only new series that I'm super pumped for is Stray Bullets Sunshine and Roses and Drifter. Stray Bullets I will buy till the end of time and as for Drifter, I just love some good old space westerns. Can't say I'm as excited about the new series next year as compared to this year. However there were some series that I was only mildly interested in this year that totally surprised me (God Hates Astronauts, Southern Bastards, Nailbiter etc). Hopefully more of the same next year.

I am curious about Drifter. Image is in an interesting place where they keep adding new sci-fi which is right up my alley, but not all of the titles look good. At the moments we have a bunch of new space opera:
Roche Lobe
Copperhead
Drifter
The Fuse
But I wonder which of these, if any, are worth getting. I have heard nothing great about Copperhead, the Fuse looks more like a police procedural, but Roch Lobe and Drifter might be good. Opinions?
I read the first few issues of The Fuse.. and while good... it didn't do anything to stand out to me more than any other police procedural. On Earth or elsewhere.
Copperhead has been very "by-the-book" so far but it's been solid. It may be a bit of a long game, and because Image is putting out so much great stuff, I fear I may not be able to wait around for it. May have to start reading it in trades.
Drifter has been #1 on my Most Wanted list since it's been announced and all of the endorsements it's been getting from some top creators hasn't hindered that.
Both Reyn and Rumble seem interesting to me. I'll at least pick up the first issue of each.
It's weird that Image has put us in a position of ignoring good books because there are so many great ones (I only read things as trades to begin with which compounds the problem). Honestly, I am just looking for a book to replace Prophet which is wrapping in March (assuming it's not delayed). "Drifter" looks extremely promising. "Copperhead" and "Fuse" don't look bad to me, but I like my space opera weird and gooey when possible. Have you tried "Roche Lobe"?
