Yeah I saw the previews for the current series and they totally cracked me up. Unfortunately over here it's really hard to get indie comics without pre-ordering so was kinda hoping this was a trade of the current series. But yeah I've seen it get a lot of hype in the weekly poll threads so think I'll just go for this one.



Do you mean lists like this which detail which comics are going to be released in future months? Because those are readily available for virtually every publisher! ComicBookResources has them for Dark Horse, Image, DC/Vertigo, Marvel/Icon and IDW every month. Usually released in that order too. Other publishers like Boom! Studios/Archaia release theirs through the Newsarama website; usually someone posts a thread about them or Dynamite Comics in the Independents forum here though. The lists for ALL the publishers are also available in the huge monthly Previews catalogue (and probably their website).

I'm not a regular IMAGE buyer but will re-sample Spawn #250. I read #200 and didn't get rehooked, but Al Simmons is coming back so I'm curious.
I'll also be looking forward to Savage Dragon #200 in a few months.

Worth keeping in mind that the new team doesnt take over til 201, so 250 probably wont be a good indication of the new direction.

There's nothing wrong with skip months. It's not like I can't go back and read a previous issue if I forgot what happened. Quality over quantity and a chance to check out new titles. My list:

So I am super pumped for Rumble and Tooth and Claw. I was realizing recently that though I like many Image series, there are just a few I truly love, and those two look like they could be special (as opposed to say "Drifter" which looks gorgeous but not like something that will probably be amazing, though I could be wrong). So what other new series are people looking forward to?

The only new series that I'm super pumped for is Stray Bullets Sunshine and Roses and Drifter. Stray Bullets I will buy till the end of time and as for Drifter, I just love some good old space westerns. Can't say I'm as excited about the new series next year as compared to this year. I read the first few issues of The Fuse.. and while good... it didn't do anything to stand out to me more than any other police procedural. On Earth or elsewhere.

Copperhead has been very "by-the-book" so far but it's been solid. It may be a bit of a long game, and because Image is putting out so much great stuff, I fear I may not be able to wait around for it. May have to start reading it in trades.

Drifter has been #1 on my Most Wanted list since it's been announced and all of the endorsements it's been getting from some top creators hasn't hindered that.

It's weird that Image has put us in a position of ignoring good books because there are so many great ones (I only read things as trades to begin with which compounds the problem). Honestly, I am just looking for a book to replace Prophet which is wrapping in March (assuming it's not delayed). "Drifter" looks extremely promising. "Copperhead" and "Fuse" don't look bad to me, but I like my space opera weird and gooey when possible. Have you tried "Roche Lobe"?
