To imagine a better world.

All-New, All-Different Marvel Checklist
I like a lot of things about comics. Adventure, excitement. (Suck it, Yoda.) Mostly, I like fun. Right now, there isn't a comic that's more fun than Rat Queens.
Hope is not lost today. It is found.
I love comics because I get to experience lives other than my own, some real, some fantastic, some both.

Is anyone else thinking "Holy crap, this is gonna be a hard one to vote for? Because I am!"

Well, even if I can really like lots of the choices made, all that voting is gonna mean is to point out one choice which I'd be liking best of them aside of my own.
I can do that no matter what, as long as I'd be keeping my eye on the ball.
Which seems okay anyway since
A) not voting for something don't mean I'd be shitting on it;
B) it would be logical if lots of chosen material or possibly even all of it would be rather good stuff in its own right.
Naturally voting will mean giving it some thought, but I'll manage that.

Because (as has already been said) words and pictures working together can do anything. They can, for example, show us a character's reality and his dream, and the contrast between them, in an instant.
They can take us out of this world, or illuminate it for us. They can show us our heroes, and ourselves.

Because comic books have a way to surprise me in regards that anything can happen in the stories thus making every new comic book i read, something i look forward to.
Plus i am a fan of good stories and good art,and thats something i see many times in comics.
I think I'll go with The Beast Of Yucca Flats because of the Love and Rockets entry showing that it doesn't always have to be about Superheroes.
