They haven`t really expanded the relationship besides the classic "I was your replacement" because there is nothing more. Dick doesn't holds a grudge at all, there is NO animosity whatsoever. They are both bats, that is it, they basically just two people that worked for the same company and have family/acquaintance in comun.

Dick PAST conections with Roy and Kory are even more dead. That's why a crossover with RHATO would be such a waste, there's no relevant past and there's no possible future, would be really pointless

But the whole "dead" thing gets squarely in the way of that. Which is why we keep circling back to the subject. It was meant to be a major dramatic plot point, but as of now it's kind of turned into an albatross.

Since when they need a reason? And is very easy. "Spyral seends Dick and Helena to hunt for a dude that is ocasionating electromagnetics pin at the same time the Constantine and Zatanna are looking for a conjurer that is using magic waves to afect eletrisity and steal some very weird books"

It doesn't even has to be a crossover just a gees staring short story. (And Janin would be drawing Zatanna, Helena, Dick and Constantine. would be very pretty)

About the whole "dead" thing they don't need to met Dick Grayson/Nightwing. He is agent 37 now, they just won't remember his face after but they will remember him, just like Midnighter does

Amen to that. I think it's best just to keep him out of Didio's sight for awhile. Maybe he'll forget he still exists and Seeley/King can write some good stories for him without being bothered.

Yes. Much of the new direction, in fact, seems to have come from him for better or worse, or at least been directly approved by him.

I'm not sure that would count as making connections as far as a lot of people are concerned. It certainly would do nothing to correct the loss of the personal friendships that many see as absolutely crucial to the character.
