Default Swamp Thing Annual #3 Preview/Discussion

    http://www.comicvine.com/articles/ex...3/1100-150180/

I got a feeling this is going to be rather sad.

On the plus side, Popcorn Thing!

Yeah this is gonna be one of those issues that's gonna pull on some heartstrings though Popcorn Thing is kinda cute. I'm really itching to see how Soule handles Etrigan.

I'm curious when this takes place since the demons were more The Wolf's idea and I assume this takes place after The Lady and The Wolf arc and just after he meets the Calculus in the latest issue perhaps?

Interesting gang of artists they have for this with 5 artists though its nice of them to let us know when each will be taking over for the most part. Pina will do well as always and its nice to have Yanick Paquette back for a bit.

This preview alone managed to stir up some emotions, I can't wait to read the whole issue. Popcorn Thing is a blast

One of DC's best books. It's going to be sad when Soule & Co. leave. I just hope the next team is just as awesome. Preview looks great, and a lot of awesome artists attached.

Considering the sales, it doesn't seem like some other team will be picking this up. Hope I'm wrong.

Can't wait to see Soule write Etrigan!

Im sure the Capuccine / Etrigan conclusion will be memorable.

So bummed about Soule leaving, which I guess means the book is not long for this world... :/

Best case scenario is a cancellation and relaunch with China Mieville's already-written Swamp Thing run. With this new spirit of freedom, it only makes sense.

I predict we'll see Alec squirrel Capucine into the Green and save her from Etrigan by making her another member of his parliament. Fingers crossed that she and Jonah get a happy reunion.

Don't tease me now, I'd love to read that.

As for the preview, looks great as always. I'm going to definitely miss Soule on Swamp Thing.
Now reading: The Flash (vol. 2) 35-62

In my mind "Popcorn Thing" is like DC's answer to dancing baby Groot from Guardians of the Galaxy.

This issue is going to be great, this series and Multiversity are my favourite books coming out of DC at the moment!

Heh, DC should combine the two books and create some parallel-reality Swamp Things!

I'll be a little disappointed if they kill off Capucine during Soule's run.

With Snyder's retcons and changes to Abby, and the rest of Soule's created characters falling back out of the book, I fear a regression for Swamp Thing. I haven't read JLD since Milligan and I've seen this Wonder Woman crossover advertised so is the lonely monster archetype a thing that DC is going for now?

I would also love to see them print those Mieville stories.
