Are you, like me, a Disney song fanatic? What are your favorite songs / favorite composers?

Some random thoughts...

I'm really looking forward to Disney's new film Wish. As for the new song "This Wish," the verses are rather awful, but the chorus is great and....SO Disney! Seems like the perfect song for the centennial film!

Ever Ever After from Enchanted might be the most underrated song of all time.

I'm also a list-making fanatic, so I'm making a list of all Disney songs EVER! The rules are, it has to come from a piece of media that bears the Disney logo, or admits onscreen to being Disney (even if it's only in subsequent, altered cuts, like The Nightmare Before Christmas). Retroactively Disney films certainly don't count (sorry Sound of Music & Anastasia). So so far I'm up to about 225!

I'm also not sure the Sleeping Beauty songs should count, as the music in that film is based on a previous production.

[The Darknight Detective]

When You Wish Upon a Star has been my favorite for at least 50 years now. I still get a chill any time I hear Jiminy Cricket (Cliff Edwards) croon it. I just wish I could get the end of the song when I sing it with my bass-baritone voice.
