Hello! I am relatively new to comic books and was wondering where one might start to find an Origin Story for Deadpool. I see he is extremly popular at Comic Con and quite frankly it peaked my interests. Can anybody refer me to a good starting place? Thanks in advance.

His origin is EXTREMELY convoluted.. different writers had different takes and explanations for where he came from. Honestly... I would just suggest the Marvel NOW! run. It's very reader friendly and they play with the origin of Deadpool so that every story told before hand makes some sort of sense.
If you want to back track, the Deadpool '96 ongoing by Joe Kelly is about as necessary as anything in terms of Deadpool stories.

I'd say just pick up any run with Deadpool, from the classic 2 volumes, to Cable and Deadpool, to the current run.
Even though Daniel Way's run got me into buying comics as issues, I can't recommend it as I think it was what lead to the Memefication of Deadpool.

The Deadpool and Death Annual of 1989 is his origin story, explains the meaning of the name Deadpool and how he got the way he is. Highly suggest your read it, it's very entertaining. I bought on comixology awhile back.

The core bits, Weapon X, washing out, wolverine's healing factor, the cancer, that's remained constant. Though the details around it have sometimes changed.

Just know that it's canon that his canon origin changes depending on who is writing him. Now, there are some consistencies. Pretty much, we know that he wasn't a very happy child, he most likely had cancer which was what got him into Weapon X, and he's probably Canadian...probably...
