At London Super Comic Con Dan Slott was talking about the event they were going to announce (now revealed to be Spider-Verse) and said that they had already decided to adapt it for the TV show. So I guess we can assume this is exactly that. The Ultimate Spider-Man adaptation of Spider-Verse.

So you're saying Blade X has it backwards and this is an example of corporate synergy gone right?

Yeah. I buy this explanation more as Marvel just doesn't put their best talent on "corporate synergy" books. I can't think of a time I've ever seen an artist of Coipel's caliber on a story that's supposed to draw in fans from the cartoons or movies.

Never knew about Penguin having webbed hands before but the rest I would argue weren't affected by tv shows and movies.

I think Wally was intended to be black in the new 52 and it was known for casting of the West characters in the Flash. Same with Superman's costume. Man of Steel was being developed the same time as the New 52 so my guess is that DC told WB what Supermans new costume would look like. Prior to Justice League Origin the only adaption with Cyborg in the Justice League was the final incarnation of the Superfriends and one episode of Smallville. I guess you could say Green Lantern affected Wallers appearance in the comics, but hard to imagine DC letting a box office bomb affect their books lol. And you are right about Jokers scars, never occurred to me since it is small to the change Marvel makes lol.

I'd watch it, I think that not only be a lot of fun but also Peter in the Ultimate Spiderman tv show is just different not to be similar to Peter in the Ultimate Universe.

I must say, if the actual Spider-girl is involved in this event, then I cannot wait to see how they'll pull it off.

I hope it's her, and we get a look on the best version of Phil Urich
