All of the teasers you've been seeing...it means that during Secret war all alternate realities will battle it out on battle world rather than just heroes and villains. Theres no reboot.

There's almost certainly, some kind of transformation of MU taking place.

If Cap remains part of the moral center of MU, then I'm ok with it.

If Doom actually becomes dangerous again, so that any individual member of the Fantastic Four can't handle him alone, I'm more ok with it.

If Thanos and Warlock are the only ones who are aware of the shift, in the next universe, then that is icing on the cake.

In Hickman's avengers books, they hinted the universe is dying. Each universe dying cut downs on the multiverse time span, therefore causing the early death of everything will happen or so Reed and older Franklin said.

Incursions don't stop until there's only one earth, so no more alt earths, their pieces get moved to the new battle world.

Lol that'd be a hell of a plot twist.

So before any time travel shenanigans, there were no alternate realities, right? How long was the age of the Universe then going to be before alternate realities?

Lots more Silver Surfer, or I ain't interested.

If they're truly tossing away the FF, or just shelving them- I hope it's not all the related characters that make the MU interesting.

Well not exactly, there's been alt worlds before the time traveling, but there's also been some made via time travel. Thing is I expect a reboot where they're going to mix things up. Nothing really to matches movies, they still make a lot of monies from Xmen books, and they own the comic rights.

Dan Watters' Azrael was incredible, a constant delight and perhaps too good for this world (but not the Forth). For the love of St. Dumas, DC, give us more!!!

If you look at Spiderman and Uncanny Avengers, and now the X-franchise with AXIS, everything has been channeled into Hickmans Incursions and the state of the MU with the Evil Cabal replacing the Illuminati. We have had the Red Skull try to force mutants into concentration camps, suddenly be overturned by an Inversion Event, and soon an Apocalypse event, dovetailed into Hickmans collisions of the multiverse. Nothing in the comics has any relevance anymore while this is going on. Everything has been postponed and all the characters are just running on the spot without any hope in the future. It's like the Incursions are happening to each each character in their own franchise. Characters are unable to do anything but observe their world be torn apart, and they don't seem to mind at all. They behave like nothing dangerous is happening. Just another Tuesday, but it's not. It's a Tuesday of slow death.
Um, seriously? Nothing's happening in any comic right now? Spider-Verse seems pretty huge. Daredevil has a full plate. Lots of stuff happening in Thor and Captain America. The X-Men seem awfully busy. Not a lot of just standing around waiting for the world to end. Then there's the whole Axis thing that's going on at the moment. Kind of big. Some would even say relevant to the Marvel U.

Yes, things are building to the end of Hickman's Avengers run and Secret Wars but it's not as though everything else has come to a standstill. As for characters "unable to do anything but observe their world be torn apart" and "behave like nothing dangerous is happening"...for one, the most apocalyptic stuff is still months ahead for everyone who isn't in Hickman's Avengers so they don't know what's coming and are understandably concerned with their present. And everyone in Hickman's Avengers is very much concerned with what's happening and are collectively trying to avert the end of the world.

And by the way, here in the real world we're all dying a slow death and still seem to carry on with our daily business even though we have massive environmental, political and economic issues to cope with. Why would comic characters be any different?

That's the Fantastic four Sue of earth 7712. The metal dude and the Ben Grimm and Dr.Doom belong to the that group.
While the Thing is Reed of earth A with a Mr Fantastic Ben.

She had to adapt to Reed's kinky stretchy bedroom ways.

None of it has any real relevance though.

Especially in the case of X-Books. They're all basically doing nothing but listening to each other whine. There isn't a single plot of any true significance.
