I can think of a laundry list of writers I'd have rather had on this. But that was a good point made up thread. I can't imagine there were no female writers out there with the time or will to take this book on. Why not KellySue, Jen Van Meter, Gail Simone, Christina Weir, Colleen Coover, Ann Nocenti, etc? Pretty sure any one of them would be getting a more positive reaction.
