Default Marvel Big Hero 6 comics increase in price value as the movie enters Theaters...

If this doesn't get Marvel some ideal push into making some new Big Hero 6 stories then nothing will...

Honestly, Variant covers spotlighting the Disney Team would be enough to support the new Movie.

I mean if Disney can honor Marvel with a few easter eggs into the film, then surely Marvel could produce SOMETHING to highlight this new film, right ?

According to Bleeding Cool.... Marvel can't do anything new with Big Hero 6 right now.

It's been pretty much divorced from Marvel during this period that the movie will be out.

You can see that in all of Marvel's business partners also. Hasbro isn't making the toys. They're being done by Bandai. And the Disney Infinity game is releasing Hiro and Baymax as Disney Originals.

There will be comics... but they're being done by Joe Books and not Marvel Comics.

Even if the decision to ignore Big Hero Six was Marvel's (which it pretty clearly wasn't), back issue price fluctuations don't mean much. You could argue that a rise in price shows potential demand, but I think the existence of the major motion picture beat the back issue market to the punch on that score.
