Entombed A.D. singer Lars-Goran Petrov has been diagnosed with incurable cancer. The article says it is bile duct cancer and that is what Hall of Fame pro football player Walter Payton died from. It's pretty insidious even for cancer.

Three new members of the Country Music Hall of Fame have been announced.

While I'm no fan of Hank Williams Jr's antics the last decade , its shocking he was never inducted before this. I have to think his outlaw rock/country image alienated a lot of the traditional country people and its why he never was inducted til now. I mean the guy had a big run in 1980's and early 90's with his albums. Yet , he never got inducted til now ? Weird...

Marty Stuart going in was well deserved. He's big on the industry and like those comics historians who try to make modern audiences understand the older traditional comics of the older era , Stuart does the same with country music. I had seen shows where he'll discuss Webb Pierce and older ones no one has a clue about and what they were to the industry.
