Singer and songwriter Jerry Jeff Walker (who wrote the hit song "Mr. Bojangles") has passed away.

This reminds me of something silly I did years ago on CBR. In it I used this song and did a whole fact article and link to discuss a comical deal where Bojangles had paid Neil Diamond for using Mr. Bojangles as a theme song. A couple responses were WTF of course as I typed it up to look as real as possible but some were like .."How could Neil Diamond have this song ? He didn't write it !"

It was silly and sadly the board wipe took it away. But I liked it.
