After just a couple of live shows with singer Ray West, Lynch has fired him. Reportedly the shows were DISASTROUS and given what West has to say in this statement/interview, it seems like fan comments were mostly on point.

So basically George Lynch hired a lead singer , gave him no rehearsal time to build a chemistry with band or learn the songs fully....and it was bad ? This is just insane to see play out. Almost every band when they bring new people in gives time to rehearse with them and all. DJ Ashba years ago said Axl Rose would make rehearsals happen after he was hired and they had to learn EVERY , Guns N Roses song. (Ron Thal said the same thing that Rose would make the guys learn every song)

This is just insane to see.

Last month Brian and Roger Taylor announced that a new Queen single will come out in September called "Face it Alone", a track that wasn't used on The Miracle album from 1989. I have mixed feelings about that but I am curious to hear what they found
