Wolfgang Van Halen will not take part in the tour for the new Tremonti album due to tour commitments with Van Halen.

Bassist Greg Chaisson has left Red Dragon Cartel. He's been replaced by former Ace Frehley bassist Anthony Esposito. Chaisson's statement.

Overkill and Symphony X will team up for a co-headlining tour of North America beginning September 18th. Tour Dates

Speaking of Overkill, the band has signed a worldwide deal with Nuclear Blast. The band had been on the label for Europe only. A box set of their entire previous catalog is due out this fall.

It amazes me Van Halen is touring. I thought the last tour was ended due to obvious reasons with David Lee Roth and Eddie Van Halen not getting along.

We'll see, Supe. Separate hotels, dressing rooms and tour buses can go a long way. Plus, I think David Lee Roth knows he's lucky to have the Van Halen gig again. He'll do just about anything short of going down on Ed during a guitar solo to keep the job.
