    how many movies are officially part of the DCU

    and how many are planned right now?

    When you say "part of the DCU", do you mean in the same way that Marvel has their movies (not including ones produced by other studios) interacting in a shared universe?

    Has DC even done that yet?

    Only one right now - MOS.

    Planned - 10 movies in the next 6 years (that's not including Batman/Superman sequels).

    - BvS: DOJ, Suicide Squad, Wonder Woman, JL Part 1, Aquaman, Shazam, Flash, JL Part 2, Green Lantern and Cyborg

    So far there has only been one film released in the DCCU, 2013's Man Of Steel. There are currently 10 planned sequels:

    Batman Vs. Superman: Dawn Of Justice (2016)
    Suicide Squad (2016)
    Wonder Woman (2017)
    Justice League Part 1 (2017)
    The Flash (2018)
    Aquaman (2018)
    Shazam (2019)
    Justice League Part 2 (2019)
    Cyborg (2020)
    Green Lantern (2020)

    That list is correct at the present time. A lot depends on how good BvS is and how well it performs at box-office. If it does comparatively poorly this ambitious plan would probably be scaled back somewhat. I hope not though because it felt good typing that little lot out (fingers crossed).

    Neil Gaiman said the reason Sandman wasn't announced is because the Vertigo movies will be separate from the DC movieverse. So there could be a few more DC/Vertigo movies planned that weren't announced.

    That's right. I forgot to mention above that there could also potentially be Batman and Superman sequels in the planning stages that haven't been announced yet.

    Though that Justice League Dark thing is almost certainly dead now it's been announced Del Toro will be doing Pacific Rim sequels.

    Yeah, he mentioned a Vertigo slate..which makes me think that there are a few movies in development. Sandman, we know for sure. Interviews with WB employees have mentioned Fables, 100 bullets etc. So, those could be part of VCU.
