    Talking Black Panther #1, 40th anniversary!!! 1977-2017

    Black Panther # 1 Jan 1977

    King Solomon's Frog!
    Black Panther helps Abner Little, a member of the Collectors, recover the Brass Frog, an ancient time machine; Due to its dangerous nature, the Frog had previously been hidden away by the Black Panther's grandfather, Azzari,

    but was taken by Alfred Queely, a fellow member of the Collectors; After getting the Frog, the Black Panther and Little are attacked by Princess Zanda, another member of the Collectors, for control of the artifact.

    During the battle, the Frog is activated and a mysterious creature, appears.

    I've been reading it. I picked up the first issue specifically to show support for a black writer. I've continued reading it because it's a good comic. Hopefully, Marvel keeps Thorne on for a while.

    Black Panther # 2 March 1977
    The Six-Million Year Man
    The creature, Hatch-22, demands to be returned to his own time in the future and mentally attacks Princess Zanda's men;


    The Black Panther is able to knock out Hatch-22;

    Princess Zanda joins with the Panther and Abner Little to travel to King Solomon's tomb to retrieve the other Brass Frog in order to complete the time machine and send Hatch-22 back to his own time.

    Race Against Time

    Black Panther, Abner Little and Princess Zanda survive the perils of King Solomon's tomb to find the second Brass Frog;

    With the two Frogs connected, the ancient time machine is complete and the Panther is able to send Hatch-22 back to his own time in the future.

    Never cared much for this Rage costume. Doesn't have much to do with the character. My favorite Rage costume is the one he wore after this one, the road warrior costume after his granny died. that costume screamed Rage.

    I feel Brother Voodoo, Monica and Blue Marvel has A LOT of potential when it comes to gathering a big black comicbook fanbase and to be steady B-listers.

    To me, the comicbook characters Brother Voodoo, Captain Marvel and Adam Brashear can become more in demand with a 3 issue limited series for each that has them battle the comicbook characters demon sorceress Lilith Mother of all Demons, Living Laser and the U-Foes.
