All Hail The Queen: Medusa Appreciation

I like the way Medusa looks with a mask. The Inhuman work best for me when they convey a sense of mystery and otherness which I think the mask does for the Queen.

I think the 1602 version of Medusa always had a great look. It combines her more with her mythical counterpart, which works for this story.

While I don't remember her doing much of anything, I always liked Ult. Medusa's look too. This version of her is also more like her mythical counter-part.

I like the amplified Medusa design of Earth X. Alex Ross and John Paul Leon's extension (no pun intended) of her freaky follicures to her eyelashes/brows etc...elevated her beyond just a beautiful woman with a lot of hair.
She looked truly "Inhuman" in line with the rest of the Royals.
All HAIR....er...HAIL!

I think I might like Pepe Larraz' work more than Stegman's. This is just beautiful! Very sad about Auran though. Would have been fun for her to stick around.

But yeah, Larraz is killing it. As for the preview of this and #9, yeah bondage looking Medusa is kinda very weird, but again, Inversion yaddayaddayadda. And the coloring is weird, for me at least, since it switched from Gracia to Isanove. gonna take a bit to get used to.

So on top of the question of weather the black getup was for the funeral or her "Inverted" outfit, comes the question of whether she is inverted in this scene. Maybe she'll only show up inverted at the end, so that the book can just quietly ignore the goings on of AXIS for one more month

Nope, Maximus has always been insane and the previously issue of INHUMANS(#7) has obviously proven that.
