I've been thinking about picking the book up, but I wanted to talk to my fellow posters about it. How is it? What's going on so far? Also would I have to go back and read all of Season 1? Any help would be appreciated.

"We live in a world of cowards. We live in a world full of small minds who are afraid. We are ruled by those who refuse to risk anything of their own. Who guard their over bloated paucities of power with money. With false reasoning. With measured hesitance. With prideful, recalcitrant inaction. With hateful invective. With weapons. F@#K these selfish fools and their prevailing world order." Tony Stark
Its actually going really well. And yes you probably would have to read it. Im sure someone could tell you what happened or you could read a synopsis of the events but i would highly recommend reading it. Its sooooo good.
Milestone 2.0 is happening and i am so excited. Looks like i know where my money is going.

Nope, only in this season. In the first he's mostly in the background, nerfed and written out of character because he would over complicate the whole thing by being Superman and Wonder Woman's superior.
This season is turning out to be a Hal centric story; I wouldn't be surprised if his betrayal of the Corps is what stopped them from crushing Superman's army (that and the zombie infection).

It's good, although as a prequel to the video game, it just feels like all build up, and the pacing has gotten slow with the bi-weekly schedule (as opposed to the weekly schedule from the first year). I'm wondering how far they can take the concept, since it still feels like it's nowhere near the climax yet.
I think it's not as good as the first series. It's seemingly been like 75% Green Lantern Corps stuff at this point, which isn't all that interesting to me. Hopefully when it starts going weekly again, we can get more than just the Corps. stuff.
I dropped it, the story is not as interesting as it was last year and more importantly it's hard to know when the next issue will come out, sometimes it's two weeks, sometiems it's three... I'll just wait more time and then see if it's worth going back.
