...where's the Fourth World Saga?

The Spectre Vol. 4 #19 by John Ostrander and Norm Breyfogle. It was an excellent one shot issue featuring the hal spectre going to apokalips and facing off darkseid. It was essentially a darkseid issue.

I think the Five Years Later Legion of Super-Heroes Vol.4 story "The Quiet Darkness" is hugely underrated. Darkseid is presented a LOT differently then usual though.

...where's the Fourth World Saga?

I saw that Jack Kirby's entire Fourth World is collected in 4 omnibuses on Amazon. I'm on the fence about spending that kind of money on them though. I'm not big on the New Gods or Jack Kirby's Asgardians either. Any particular storylines you can name?

Darkseid is also heavily involved in the superman event "Our worlds at war" although whether you consider it a good or bad thing is dependent on who you like.

After OWAW , superman had a one shot issue slugfest with darkseid.

During OWAW , Darkseid also appeared in Wonder Woman 173 as Diana helped to heal Darkseid and regain his full power but in the process , sneakily infuse a bit of her soul into his.

Most of the responses in this list are really shocking.

Walt Simonson's Orion was the best semi-recent take on the character. I love the backup where Darkseid is hiding out in the garden at the core of Apokolips plotting his revenge against Orion. That's the Darkseid I love-- even surrounded by beauty and tranquility as he licks his wounds, Darkseid is plotting his revenge. Not even Jim Lee art could ruin that backup for me.

One issue that I think is kinda slept on is Eclipso 10 where Eclipso and Darkseid play chess on the moon. It's a really great issue in a very underrated series.
