• Back in D.C., Lois watches on as Superman pummels the creature into the sidewalk. Finally, it is unconscious. Across town, Dabney Donovan is nervous. His creation failed, with Lex Luthor watching. Much to his surprise, Luthor instructs Donovan to recover the creature & to make more. Donovan has all the funding he needs...
• Later, Superman is still assisting with the downtown cleanup efforts while Lois sits in the hotel lounge, waiting for her 9pm date with Clark. By 10:30, Clark suddenly remembers but it's too late. Lois has gone, and caught an early flight back to Metropolis. Did he blow it? Or is it selfish to think about her when Superman was needed? And what is that slight buzzing in his ears?

• Bruce Wayne haunts an otherwise empty Wayne Manor. Batman has been accused in the killing of The Riddler. The GCPD, thanks to a directive by the newly elected Mayor Dent, have named him Most Wanted. But Bruce knows the truth. The mansion is quiet except for the television where Vicki Vale reports on the latest exploits of Gotham's new violent vigilante, Joe Chill. The man truly responsible for The Riddler's demise and someone Bruce suspects knows his secret identity. A man who has somehow returned to the city and is leading a bloody revolt against the criminal element, playing judge, jury and executioner. Where does justice stop and murder begin? Breaking news: Chill is leading a mob of angry and armed Gothamites towards Arkham Asylum, where the inmates have taken over.
• GCPD are on the scene, battling for control of the Asylum, unaware of Chill's parade headed their way. The inmates have seized all the facility's weapons and are holding on to their turf for now. Shots have been exchanged and at least two officers have been rushed to the hospital. But this thing is about to erupt. A cold November wind howls towards the patrol cars, blowing with it cards...floating by....all Jokers.
• Bruce has to cutoff Joe Chill before the situation gets worse, and he must do so unmasked. As he leaves Wayne Manor, he notices Selina Kyle scurrying away and a note left on his doorstep.

• The Joker just stands there, grinning, covered in DK's blood. Nightwing and Robin jump into action, not hearing Batman's warning. Tripping a mine hidden in the floor, Nightwing & Robin are caught in an explosion...one that will cost Nightwing a leg. Robin takes shrapnel to the shoulder. Batman, anger burning in his eyes, dives for Joker, just as the building begins to crumble & burn from the explosion.
• Robin, wounded, sees Nightwing laying motionless on the floor. As Batman beats on the Joker, Robin removes his belt & cape, making a tourniquet for Nightwing's leg. The building continues to collapse as Robin carries his friend outside to safety. With a last glance over his shoulder, he can just barely see the Dark Knight standing over the still laughing Joker...and then the building falls.
• The warehouse remains, located on the waterfront, fell into the ocean. The GCPD trolled the water with nets for 3 days & 3 nights, but the bodies of Batman & Joker were never recovered.
• Meanwhile, in the present, Tim has finished telling the story to Clark. Dick shifts his weight uncomfortably, leaning on his prosthetic. They eye Clark suspiciously, wondering what he'll say. His response: "Teach me to do it like Him."

• Metropolis City. The Crown Prince of Techno-Crime is pulling off his latest heist. The villain has found a way to mask his powers from the city's automated robotic super-security force (also known as ***LW/H Ultra-1 Dronebots). Passers by document this latest glitch in the system over social media, catching the attention of Julian Sharp. Thankfully he hasn't slept in 48 hours, insomnia just the latest of his habits along with writing code, experimenting with elements, hacking databases and bad reality TV - all of which serve as pseudo-healthier replacements for his old love of pharmaceuticals. This presents a golden opportunity to test his latest "toy." Julian slips on his stealth armor plating, his propulsion pack and equips his energy scrambler. Next stop: Wayne Central Bank.
• Julian surprises The Crown Prince as he is finishing his purging of Wayne Banking Customer accounts and personal data. But before Julian can test his scrambler, he is swarmed by a half-dozen LW/H Ultra-1 Dronebots.
  "Identify yourself. Metropolis City is a Meta-human free zone as decreed by United Nations ordinance 6.16. You are unregistered and unlicensed. Surrender to our authority immediately."
• Julian responds "Me? I'm....Machinehead. Can't you see I'm saving the day here. Who the hell are you rust-buckets supposed to be?"
  It appears Julian will get to test out his scrambler after all. Machinehead takes the fight to the Dronebots as a crowd of concerned citizens gather around the scene, projecting it onto Utube, Headbook, and the Tweety-Verse. Unfortunately, Julian's armor is only a prototype and the heavily tested Dronebots quickly get the upper hand. The Crown Prince quietly escapes with no one noticing.
• A few blocks away, Dr. David Dibble is alerted of what's happening via encrypted text-messaging from an old friend. He knew this day would come. The monster can only sleep so long. Dibble hits the scene and unleashes his alter ego....The Behemoth proceeds to BASH some measly Dronebots. The witnessing crowd scatters in horror.
• Then HE appears. A God on Earth. The true authority. The one being that even The Behemoth can't handle...Wundajin! And he has brought an army of Dronebots to back him up, as if he needed them.
• The Behemoth BASHes his way underground, grabbing an unconscious Machinehead and an amputated Dronebot and escapes into a secret underground labyrinth built by a friend.
• Julian wakes up after a long rest. "Oh my head. Haven't felt like this in ages. I had the worst dream. I was being abducted by a giant smurf. Hey, who are you guys? Is this is the classiest drunk tank ever or did I book a room in that hotel in The Shining? C'mon, which is it fellas?"
  "Welcome back Mister Sharp. My name is Dr. David Dibble. This is our host Riggan Crowne. You're in Crowne Plaza. I think we better have a chat."
