    Really, McGuinness?

    Miss Rasputin's pose is ridiculous.

I adore McGuinness's work, but I agree that that pose is absurd. I don't think he's generally prone to broke-back posing, so I dunno why he did it here.

Exactly why I'm all "C'MON" about it.
If it had been the typical crop of back benders and bust boosters, then I'd just roll my eyes.

And it's weird even on the cover. It's a fairly normal group shot and then there she is at the bottom doing whatever that is.

So, I'll not be picking up anything for this I wouldn't normally, but I'm correct in assuming they're talking about Ronan, right? That'd be neat, maybe. I'd honestly rather it be used to create a new cosmic hero to add to the Tuardians or something, though. It sounds like a cool origin macguffin.

Sounds interestingly similar to the Siege Perilous, which did not open up your ultimate potential destiny, but wiped your slate clean and gave you a different potential destiny.

I'm still very excited for this event, the cover by McGuinness looks pretty great.

I really like most of the characters involved and I cant wait to see the X-men in a big cosmic event.

Sounds interesting. I don't follow the Uncanny side of the X-Men or GotG, but since it looks like it'll feature Storm I'll likely give this story a shot. I like the cover.

Same here. Thankfully, I don't read any of those comics.

Sounds interesting in theory but I have absolutely no faith in Humphries nailing the execution.
Besides, I read neither ANXM nor GotG

Pass for me. Mostly because it requires me to buy books I'm not reading. I hate those kind of events. Sounds pretty underwhelming too, which is disappointing when you consider the cosmic events are usually badass.

That is not a pose. It looks like a pose to us, but I see it as an action shot. She is swinging her blade, which entails (tail, heh heh) twisting at the waist. Have you seen slow mo shots of athletes throwing (Madison Bumgarner), jumping, running, etc? They look all mal-formed.

Because comics are a static medium, we sometimes forget these characters are in motion.

An event centered around StarKat and helmed by Humphries and Bendis?

First Marvel Cosmic event Ill be staying away from.
