Who would you pick as your Uncanny Avengers team? Let's say pick about 4 characters considered Avengers first and foremost and 4 characters considered X-Men first and foremost (4 non-mutants, 4 mutants), but you can obviously play with the numbers however you want!

I'll throw my idea for a cool UA roster out first as an example:

Definitely Scarlet Witch, she's the breakout character of this series, the one everyone thinks about
Add Rogue, her foil
And Vision, her love interest
Let's go leftfield and add Agnetha Harkness
And since the line up is kinda magical, Dr Strange
And we need 3 more mutants, let's add Beast, because he's a link to the Avengers
Gambit, because that will placate any Rogue fans who want her away from the Avengers, plus his book is ending
And lastly the resurrected Prof X, making amends for the damage the defeated Red Skull caused.

Actually drafted up my 'ideal' unity squad a while back, but I can't find the right post...and I don't know if it fits the OP criteria anyways. Trying it again, then:

Storm and Captain Marvel as co-leaders. Both powerhouses, both strong personalities with natural leadership qualities, both tied very heavily to their particular side of the A/X divide. Might clash, but not over frivolous stuff.

Other Avengers:
Vision. Back-up powerhouse, esoteric and interesting abilities, very 'classic' Avenger, intelligent, detached enough from racial/civil tensions to offer a more elevated POV.
Spider-Woman. Carol isn't gonna be able to ditch her BFF for long.

Other X-Men:
Nightcrawler. Good forward scout, fun visual, bonus representation for the less-human-looking mutant minority, and he's just so nice. The glue that keeps everyone together.
Domino. Favouritism? Yes. But also fills out the spy/martial artist/dirty tricks slot usually left to Black Widow, who's got enough on her plate anyway. Adds spice to team chatter if she's got her usual persona intact.
Forge. The IT guy. Keeps the team's gadgetry intact, provides techno plot devices as needed. Liable to be withdrawn but he'd likely get along well with Vision.

Bonus:
Ghost Rider. Robbie Reyes. Dude's series is likely ending and I don't want him to vanish into limbo. Plus I've always been hankering for the aVENGErs to have a spirit of VENGEance, y'know? And every team needs a wildcard member who's useful but not too trustworthy. A kid struggling to hold in an unbalanced supernatural force is as good as any Hulk.


(Note: I have no idea how any of this works with what Remender's doing with UA. This is just me spitballing based on the simple idea of a half-Avengers half-X-Men unit.)
