Need your honest opinion about Rogue Trooper. I'm planning to get Tales of Nu Earth vol 1 but I'd like to hear some opinions from you guys? Is it good, is is essential 2000 AD read?

It's there now:

Spotted that pre orders for Last American HC from 2000AD store are sold out. If any of you would like to sell copy when it's released or have bought more than one copy, I would like to buy or even trade it for Wolverine by Aaron omni.
Just jumping in here-- I'm digging the Golden Age Omnibus' DC is putting out-- nice to see three each of Batman and Superman and I just saw WW V2 solicited. I know this is a hot buttom for some collectors as these have been reprinted in the Archives, The Chronicles and now this version. I like this format better-- the pages are bigger which really makes the art pop. If the Archives had done the same manner of reprints by character rather than by title I would have stuck with them. I like having these in one (or two or three) hardcovers rather than a whole run.
Meanwhile over at Marvel I just picked up the Dr Strange Omnibus of Ditko's work on the title and that was really a fun read.
Good stuff and hoping more to follow.
Why the hell would they call this a deluxe if it's not oversized...
Anyone aiming to get the Fantagraphics Crepax books? You might want to hold off until November when FB collects the first two volumes in a slipcase:
https://www.amazon.com/Complete-Crep...graphics+books
Same goes for the Prince Valiant books (collecting vols. 1-3):
https://www.amazon.com/Prince-Valian...graphics+books
I don't like how some Omnibus' go for $100 and some for $125 and that's even if they have the same page count, is there a reason for this anybody know?
Smart move. I will have to do that going forward.
This is why I was fooled into thinking it is oversized.
Cancel if you can. As mentioned above, there will be inevitable other versions of this. I'm pondering just sending it back to Amazon where I got it even if I have to pay a little to return it.
it will be, Fantagraphics always does this, putting the existing volumes in to gift boxes. You can get some good deals this way, all my Duck books were cheaper in sets than they would have been individually but you have to wait more for the next volumes and unfortunately the boxes are not as good as DC absolute slipcases. They are sturdy enough but don't always fit properly.
