Do the original issues contain letters pages? Does the Uber Alles contain the Amy Racecar specials?
I’ve still got my original Stray Bullets HC’s. I love them, and wish they’d continued producing them.

They only released three hardcovers, collecting up to issue 22. A fourth had an ISBN assigned, but I sure haven’t ever seen one in print. Each hardcover has a small section of extras, perhaps 15 pages each? Binding single issues would be tough to match, because the hardcovers are nicely oversized (sorry for the dark pic attached showing the size difference). I bought the Uber Alles edition because I wanted everything collected, but I’m still holding onto the old hardcovers in the hopes that they’ll decide to use the same format again someday.

The Uber Alles edition has the Amy Racecar appearances from the main series, but not the color specials.

So I sold my invincible trades a few years ago and was thinking of replacing them with the hardcovers. Are they good builds or do they seem like they will fall apart down the line? I pick up the monthly so the wait between volumes is no big deal and the size is perfect for me.

The Ultimate linr is pretty nice and it has loads of extra's pre volume. I don't think they'll fall apart on me very easily

I made some pic if you want
my vol 1 is used so don't mind the dinged corners

It's glued but it's a pretty good glued binding

As you can see it (and every other volume) has a shitload of extra's. The red part consists of sketches with annotations by Kirkman and Ottley and the small part after that consists of scripts, covers and some text by the people invloved.

These are some of the best glued comic collection.
I usually despise glued books, but these are VERY good.

It's sewn actually. You can see the individual signatures very clearly.

Hey Victor, I already put in the first order but seeing all those pictures I'm not sure how I'm gonna get through the wait. Thanks for such a fast and thorough response.

Yeah, it's sewn. Virtually all sewn bindings use glue for added support, and to attach the cloth lining. The presence of glue doesn't necesarily indicate glued binding.

Sewn bindings have "signatures" which are little partitions of paper that are folded together and then sewn:

Glued bindings just have a big block of pages glued to the spine:

Finished reading March book one. I thought it was very good. I enjoyed the art, the writing - everything. Looking forward to getting book two.

Hahaha, well that explains my love for them then :-)

Then I still don't love any glued binding of books with +180 pages or so.
