I just finished Sweet Tooth 1. I liked his Superboy, his Animal Man, and his Justice League. That stuff plus his Vertigo and Indy stuff, I don't doubt Green Arrow is good. That artist was great on I Vampire.. (The March Daredevil books, Eternaut, Absolute Hard Traveling Heroes, I can't decide where to put the pennies.)

I highly doubt it. The deluxe came as a surprise as it is.

anybody has any experience with PS pulishing or PS Artbooks? Some of their books seem interesting like Strange worlds featuring stories from Wally Wood and Frank Frazetta or Phantom Lady, but based on some reviews (mostly from amazon, so I take them with a grain of salt) these are basically free for grab, public domain comics and for a reason, because nobody else really wants them.

Like, if the Fantagraphics EC library line is the blockbuster movie, these are the direct to VHS B films.

But I'm still kinda interested if any of their books worth a read or not (I donno why I want to read Phantom Lady but it seems like a good idea).

They have a thread on the MMW boards but since that's run by one of the publishers it's probably not the most objective source. I've also found another discussion on those boards but they were just basically waiting for the next volume of XYZ and speculating what could come next, but no discussion about the content.

That book is so fun/dysfunctional/completely nuts. Good purchase. Volume 2 is coming out soon, IIRC.

    Cool, Thanks.
Yes, I believe it was scheduled for this month but according to CGN it looks like early February.

I go the other way, found East of West (and to be honest, everything else I have read if Hickman's) a bit of slog, but I devoured MP in one sitting

I don't mind slim books. Just needs to be priced accordingly. I thought this was a bit much.

Hickman is the one writer who I just can't bring myself to take a risk on when it comes to independent stuff. I like his ideas that I've read in his Marvel stuff but it feels so dull while you get where you're going I just can't take the risk. I imagine if you like his style he'd be a favourite because he knows how to maintain a plot from what I've read.

I like a lot of Hickman and loved his East of West, but you have to be in it for the long haul. I did not like a lot of his Avengers (loved FF) and coudd not make it thru Secret Wars.
