General omnibus & hardcover discussion vol. II

Any upcoming reprints or even an Omnibus of Criminal by Brubaker/Phillips?

I picked up Vol 2 cheap locally(after selling both Volumes) and figured I should complete the set.

The reprints of both are just released.

I asked Instocktrades and Image, here the answers:

These items are not new printings. These are copies of the old printings that were recently found and have been transferred to Image from Marvel. The books say Icon on the spine and on the inside of the books it says Marvel. The only difference is that Image added a sticker to the back of the book to cover up the Marvel ISBN and to show an Image ISBN. Please let us know if you have any other questions.

We don't currently have a release date for that Criminal edition, but keep an eye out on the website for any updates. Thank you!

Being new in collecting comics (April 2017), I'm happy to see these coming out. I ordered both volumes of Criminal and also Incognito. Brubaker is amazing and I want to read those.

I had pre-ordered Incognito on Amazon DE as soon as it went up and it's now listed as not available... same on FR, UK, etc.

As said, Marvel found some books somewhere and I'm pretty sure it's 'US first', so for us Europeans I wouldn't hold my breath, unfortunately.

Is it honest to sell these books as "New."?
The factory shrink-wrap has been removed and stickers mar the back covers.

I am unable to post pics at this time. (I am leaving for a vacation.)
Aside from being removed from the shrink-wrap and the UPC price code stickers on the back covers these are in great, NM condition.
But most (myself included) consider the removal of factory seal and the stickers a degradation of condition.

I would have removed the shrink-wrap anyway, but getting the books sealed is confirmation of receiving NEW books.
While the stickers are only slightly larger than the original printed UPC codes they are an unwanted alteration, and I doubt they can be removed without damaging the print.

I cant see why the books were not left in the shrink wrap, with the new UPC stickers affixed.

Just caught up with the information given by you guys regarding the highly anticipated Brubaker "reprints".

As Stargasm I preorderd the Volumes via Amazon Germany but I have next to no hope that they will ever arrive.

I called my LCS in Cologne, Germany and they were still able to order the second Volume of Criminal and the Incognito one for me but the first Criminal Vol. was already marked as not available anymore by Diamond.

Given all that the situation seems rather disappointing. I tracked down almost all of Brubakers work in the last couple of months (minus the Iron Fist Omnibus ...) and those Volumes and in the worst case I am back to starting point. I hope the other Volumes will arrive at least.

Oh, very nice haul! I liked Vol 1 of WicDic. I want Vol 2 at some point, but there are books that I want more and I will be skin for 9 months haha
