I like his work on Divinity (a good set of limited series which could be better), while I didn't care for Unity nor Ninjak at all.

As for your question about 4001 AD, as another poster said, you do need to read Rai first. 4001 AD is essentially an event which Rai leads into (and I believe the 4001 AD deluxe hardcover has issues 13-16 of Rai, although those are origin issues)
thanks for the recommendation, if I ever break my deluxe only rule with Valiant (I'm VERY close to it) I will definitely pick it up.
I actually liked Unity, not the best but an entertaining read. Ninjak was slightly underwhelming and I don't think Kindt has any idea how to write this type of character effectively (I mean it's not a disaster it's just a series of missed opportunities). I really hope Divinity will get better because the first story was very predictable.

Cerebus. Awesome! Don't get thrown off by the first 2/3 of vol. 1 when it's still mostly a 'meh' riff on BWS's Conan.

6,000, as a matter of fact. Sim always had the idea to end the series at #300. And he did.

6000 pages. I don't know where to get the time for reading it!

Yeah, here are some photos. But they were made in June, so now my collection is a little bit bigger

    6k?! Is it heavy texted?

Moving weekend, my place looks like warehouse now - and I work in warehouse - when I set everything up I'll update my collection. Landlord is very friendly chap, said he would get me whatever I want from furniture and I need shelf. Balakin knows what I'm talking about.

Yeah I'm going to be moving soon and once I do I plan to hit Ikea for some new book cases to house my stuff. Right now I have one case dedicated to my growing collection of comic books and it is just about bursting. Once my recent purchases have all arrived I'll post a pic - it's comically packed. It's basically a solid 5 foot by 5 foot block of books.

Anyone else interested in the Spawn Vault edition that was solicited this month? Haven't bit the bullet on an artist edition yet, but it's the first 7 issues and Mcfarlane has kept his original art under wraps for the most part.

Did you get all of the Cerebus stuff without trying it out first? I have bought the first five or six trades twice now thinking I may have been a bit immature the first time around to enjoy it, only to realise the second time around it just bored me, I'm pretty sure I'm not going for a third time

No, I have already read the first volume. That was a little bit boring, but interesting - and I've heard that will be much more original after the first few trades.

haha yeah, indeed you need shelves I really need a new one too, my first shelf I bought is really bendy but it's such a pain to put together the Argos shelves but the delivery from Ikea cost as much as a shelf from Argos.

I always thiugh Cerberus started off well but then went to **** about half way or two-thirds of the way through. The biographies were pretentious and the final issue kind of dumb. My opinion of course. LOL
