Ooh that is pretty bad. I haven't seen any of mine do that. I would try and repair that with some PVA book binders glue if it were mine. Or grab a new one since it is not oop.

Ugh. That stinks. I haven't had any problems with mine. Like Brewman said, try fixing it with some book glue.

Wow! Given how awesome Image have been from my (admittedly limited) experience so far, that surprises me

They can be pretty hit and miss. My copy of Saga Deluxe vol. 1 looked like a library copy after one reading, Black Science's first run had printing issues causing a reprint which then had mousetrap binding, and the Elephantmen TPBs are the worst books I've ever seen, with single pages falling out left, right and center.

Yeah, I think I will just end up buying a new copy. It is a shame since I haven't even read it yet. Oh well...

Honestly that looks like something book glue would fix no problem. Might as well buy a tube of amazon for 10 bucks, fix that, and save some money. The way things are being produced these days it will be the first of many.

I had this exact same problem with the first copy I bought. I sold it at a pretty good discount and bought a new one only to find the same problem. It was less severe on the second copy, but there definitely seems to be a production issue.

Read the description. It collects trades 3, 4, and 5, which was the ongoing. Trades 1 and 2 were collections prior to the ongoing. That's what I mean by the first couple not being collected in hardcover
