Don't know if this was mentioned, but a Deadly Class hardcover is finally up on Amazon. Collects the first three arcs and appears to be the same size as the Black Science hardcover.

Oh, this is a thing of beauty. I have some photos on my website (http://comicstrade.ru/2016/02/usagi-...llery-edition/). Here are some of them:

    Some of my favorites:

-The Balad of Halo Jones (Moore/Gibson)
    -The Forever War (Marvano/Haldeman)
    -Valerian (Mezieres/Christin)
    -The Metabarons (Jodorowsky/Giminez)
    -Lone Sloane (Druillet)
    -Universal War One (Bajram)

There is nothing like Firefly, except maybe Cowboy Bebop (but that's an anime).
I really freakin' love Fear agent, that's an excellent pulp homage space adventure series. Saga is realyl good as well but it has a lot of sex and violence, sometimes borderline pornographic but the story is very well written.
Metabarons is awesome but that's sci-fi on kokain, it's balls to the wall madness but if you don't mind that it is an amazing book (also the whole Incal universe but Metabarons is so far my favourite).

Still, his avengers just consists of too many books so probably won't get them any time soon.
I love Hickman's work, it all clicked into place with Pax Romana and since then I've picked up everything he has done. His Marvel work from Secret Warriors through to the huge Fantastic Four&FF/Avengers/Secret Wars run is amazing but it really is something that needs to be read in one go.

Alsi I'm really annoyed that I've been picking up Manhattan Projects and East of West as Trades and not the HC's but I'm four books deep in each series and not sure if I can get my money back on ebay for them.

    Lets see!

I think he is hit or miss for me, loved Secret warriors but the few issues of his Avengers and NA I've read didn't interest me much, but maybe only because I've read them monthly.

For OP, by 'something like Firefly' you meant space opera, there are many, Saga is relatively new

Anyone have the 30 days of night complete hc editions? I think there's two. Just ran across one on ebay and wondered how the quality was, as they seem to be from 2003 or so

If it's the same, I got a 30 days of night HC slipcover set, give you the first three story arcs in HC, got mine off eBay, ended up sending the first one back as the pages were coming away from the spine, second one came a lot better but spine still cracked when I opened it so I had to ease it into use, beautiful books but pretty delicate

Actually an amazing book, bru and Phillips are perhaps my favorite tandem.
