Also, does anyone know if a Think Tank by Matt Hawkins Complete Hardcover is still in the works? Because there's this: http://smile.amazon.com/Think-Tank-C.../dp/1632150239 that obviously never came out. Though I guess it wouldn't be a "Complete" edition now Hawkins is pressing forward with a new Think Tank volume and a volume 4 TPB is solicited for that.

I'm sure it's been discussed somewhen before... but can I get some opinions on Kirkman's Outcast? Who would you recommend this book too? Is it very gory? Does it give that claustrophobic feeling like WD? And what's not good about it?

Nope, unfortunately. I asked them last year. I don't know if they don't cancel their books or if amazon just doesn't take them down, but it's happened with a few Top Cow books.

thank you for posting this, especially the large preview art and all the details. i had not heard of it and the list of artists has me sold already when it comes out in english. i see that there are a number of metabarons books already on amazon.com, can i just start with this new series though?

i know you already bought it but just to answer your question, yes i would recommend it, yes it has a similar feeling to twd, yes it can be gory but its not as gory as twd.

i dont know how many issues are in the foreign (to me) hardcover version you got but for the original tpbs, ive been recommending to people that they read both back to back and then theyll be into it. the first one alone was not enough of the story chunk to really grab me.

I have no idea what this new series is gonna be about other than it will feature the last Metabaron who was also in the Incal but I would suggest to get the Metabarons hardcover which is like 500 pages and collects the main series. Everything else came out after it. It's quite a good deal for the content you get (if it's still in print) and the story is just batshit insane balls to the wall sci-fi.

i read the first arc and it was decent. i don't remember it being gory at all, but i left the series right when that side of the story might have picked up a bit? i cut it during a big cull of monthlies about a year ago but i still carried like 10 image books if that tells you anything. though, i have been tempted to grab issues when i have a light week at the store.

edit: i see you picked it up, i'd like to hear your thoughts when you read it.

What does batshit insane mean in this context? I've been thinking of getting the 40th anniversary edition even though I'm not really a sci-fi fan. I feel like I should own something by Jodorowsky and the book and art looks beautiful. I also love all things to do with warrior culture but if it's really out there I'd pass on it.
