How do you guys usually go about getting the specific cover of an omnibus you're after? The new Dr Strange omnibus is coming soon and I'd much rather have the Ditko cover over the Alex Ross one, but I've ordered an omnibus from Amazon before and it seems you just get whatever cover they have.
With Marvel books the two covers are called the Direct Market (DM) and Mass Market(MM) covers, Amazon will always have the MM cover in order to get the DM cover you have to prefer it explicitly from either a specialist comic book website (forbidden planet, instocktrades etc) or from your local comic book store.
I think the Ditko cover is the DM cover but I can't find the original solicitation to double check. If you need more info hop into the Marvel thread the people in the would be happy to help.
RE: The Sixth Gun HCs. The first three volumes collected two trades' worth of material each. There are three trades of the regular series and three spin-off trades remaining. I think I'd rather they collect the rest of the series in one final HC and then the spin-offs in their own HC. Otherwise we will be getting three very padded HCs, with only one trade's worth of the ongoing series in each volume.
Is Hellboy Libray vol 5 going OOP?! Was just checking my Amazon wishlist and spotted prices. God dammit, it's been too long, have to buy it now. And it used to around 25 quid not that long ago.
This looks intriguing

(W) Jack Kirby (A/CA) Jack Kirby
Jack Kirby has been called the King of Comics, and rightfully so. For more than 40 years he was the most vital and groundbreaking artist in the medium. There have been dozens of books on Kirby over the years, including several oversized Artist's Editions showcasing his original art. This book will present Kirby's art in a new and unprecedented way, as side-by-side examples of his work, both in PENCIL and INK! Three Key first issues are showcased: The Demon #1, Kamandi #1 and Omac #1, along with a number of additional pieces presented. This is a perfect way to see Kirby art in its rawest form, from photocopies made from the original pencils as each page was completed, then next to it, the finished inks. We would almost call this a textbook of comic art except it's too much fun!
