Anyone here read Outcast from Kirkman? I love Invincible and The Walking Dead. The tv-show from Outcast isn't my cup of tea. So I don't know if I would like the comic?

The TV show stuck to the source material pretty well. The comic was slooooowwww up until issue ~18 then it finally started explaining some of the numerous mounting questions. Floppy price just jumped from $3 to $4 with #31 such that I'm switching to trades. They've put (are putting) out HCs with 12 issues; I'm hoping they do HC Omnis a la TWD with 24 issues each.

I read it in tpbs as they come out and it's enjoyable, but as a previous poster said . . . it's somewhat slow early on. I doubt I would have stuck with it on a monthly basis.

I heard End League suffers from rotating artists after a few issues. Haven't read it to confirm.
I enjoy Low to include the art...almost abstract. As others have said, story is depressing but that's Remender's intent.

I pre-ordered End League HC based on enjoying his other creator owned work.

I like it, but I'm another one of those who read it in TPB. It was far too slow to read as a monthly.

Man, I need to put my Manara HCs (all 10) in sleeves, and some of them in my fire proof safe! Borgias and Erotica 1-3 (especially 1) are crazy priced now!

The fact that it was so slow was why I stopped following it. My experience is that comics/books are almost always better than the series/movies. I'll look it up online and read a bit. See if I like it.

Anyone know why DH is putting out Abe Sapien Dark & Terrible in Deluxe format but not the previous stories?

Would recommend, pretty good storytelling, but it's not his best.

Very good idea. Erotica vol 2 and 3 still can be found for decent money, but you have to do your research. Borgias goes crazy cash, same with vol 1 of Erotica and vol 1 of main stories.

Thanks, I'll give it a try. I saw in your collection a copy of The whole Tank Girl. I don't know anything about this. Can you tell me something more, maybe show some pictures?

When announced, there was an unconfirmed confirmation that there would be a 3rd hardcover to follow up the volume 1 and 2 of Dark and Terrible hardcovers that would include the 1st, 2nd, and 9th tpbs.

I'm confused. So the first deluxe/HC is reprinting volumes 3-5 and the next HC will reprint volumes 1-2?

Dark and Terrible hc volume 1 will collect tpbs 3-5, volume 2 will collect tpbs 6-8.

And unspecified 3rd hc will collect tpbs 1, 2, and 9

Abe Sapien Dark and Terrible is a storyline that runs alongside the BPRD Hell on Earth story. The other three trades (1,2,9) are story scattered at other points in Abe's timeline. It makes sense for them to put out the Dark and Terrible stories alongside the Hell on Earth hardcovers and then come back later for a companion book that includes the other unrelated Abe stories
