Just got my copy of Witzend in the mail from Amazon and spent a little while paging through it. I really didn't know about it when I initially preordered it other than the talent involved and looking through it reaffirmed my belief that it was worth the money. An awesome assortment of works and the books themselves are exquisitely put together.

So just a heads up to people don't buy anything from -Daily Deals- on Amazon. Apparently they just order other peoples books and have them shipped to you. I thought I had picked up a cheap "Good" condition copy of the first Mice Templar HC with "very little shelf wear" but I got an old library book that was falling apart. Already filed a claim, but man am I pissed right now.

No problem. Do read it - but after you're done with the series.

    Latest haul:

Weapons of the Metabaron was awesome. Really cool. Picked it up from Floating World Books in Portland during my trip. Very cool comic shop. Lots of Humanoids stuff there. Travis Charest's art is amazing in it. The space suits they wear in Prometheus look a lot like the suit the Metabaron wears in this book. I loved the designs, the look, all of it!

Uh. BD are selling the Peanuts AE for less than £ 39 via Amazon.co.uk

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/offer-lis...&condition=new

If that wasn't an AE I'm not at all interested in, I'd be all over that.

What is your taste?
My taste is anything really interested in trying varied choices. Thanks for your response I'll look into those. You don't recommend Invisibles then?

I recomment id. If you like Morrison's crazy, sometimes hard to decypher stories, it's one of the best and one of my favourites. The book itself is well put together compared to other DC books, but it's so huge, you have to read it at a table (I've read it on a drawing board so I could lean back).
I've read Rising stars at least 5-6 years ago but I loved it back then.
Also: try Sandman, it's 2 volumes, 1000 pages each.
Has anybody mentioned Secret warriors yet? If you can find it for a decent price, that's a really good book too.

Some haul you got there. And you got Starstruck HC too. That must have been pretty difficult to find. DMZ 2 is pretty big by the looks of it, or are those some thin Marvel omnibuses?

I got these today. Bottom 3 (from the left) are (available) in English.

It's superthin Marvel omnibuses lol. Yeah, I'm lucky with Starstruck - bought it for 35 at eBay. Btw, there is one more copy for 70$ at eBay now, just look for the "starstruck deluxe" phrase, if somebody want

Ricky rouse? What is it and who is this weird Micky mouse? Nice books, by the way! Waiting for my Castaka too
