Never read it, but buy it!

Congratulations man! Is this part of a collection, or just a stand alone series?

P.S. How long can we keep this going? :P

What’s everyone think of Hellboy in Hell? I read it last night in one sit down and I thought at best it was just “meh” and even boring. And don’t get me wrong, I love HB and this book had some moments of brilliance (that part where HB sees the tree and apples - wow!) but it could have been told in four issues.

TBH I was a little underwhelmed as well. It was good, but sort of a "quiet/contemplative" story. However, I thought the art was glorious...so on balance I liked it fine and I'm looking forward to adding the LE to my collection soon.

I read it as singles, and I'd say underwhelmed is a good was to describe my feelings toward the plot and story. I was just expecting something different after Darkness calls and the Storm and the Fury.

I'm gonna reread it now again with the LE

Underwhelmed! yes that's probably how I should have described it. As noted, though, the art is beautiful!

I guess it makes for a good epilogue to the first 6 LE's. I know at some point I will sit down and read them all again in order and I suspect there's a good chance I appreciate it more.

Will they continue his time in Hell or does it ostensibly end here? I see that there are new series with HB but they're in the past.
