Is the "experiment" that it's $49.99 MSRP instead of $39.99 for the same collected issues? I hope there were material/construction/extras upgrades if that's true.

Valiant upped their deluxe prices ~6 months ago. They now have a proper sewn binding, but lack the glossy cover. YMMV

Exactly. I'm lucky to have almost every deluxe I want. I'm only looking for the book of death. But that one isn't high on the list.

Book of death. I like Q&W too but it depends on your taste in humour whether you will like it or not. Wasn't sure if I will care about book of Death but it won me over.

Actually,are we talking about Classic (90's series) or the modern one?Both are good,I would add.

I bought the omnibus when it came out as a blind buy and couldn't finish it. The jokes were juvenile. Just not that good of a read. It's a polarizing book. Some people love it. I didn't.
