Just went to ollies and got a surprise. They have tubs of graphic novels! Most are dc but they have some marvel, archie, boom and mangas also. What shocked me was the price. $2 to $4 for softcovers and $5 for hardcovers! I got a dc $45 hardcover for $5!

If you guys have a ollies you might want to head there!

Some videos I found on youtube.

I finally got around to reading 'Black Hole' - I read it periodically throughout the day. I mean holy crap, it was messed up, but in a good way. I'd already read 'X'ed Out' and knew that it was going to be trippy too. It's hard to really explain how I feel after reading it, but it really was an incredible read. I can't even explain it.

I would file a claim. That's no way to package such a book.

I would definitely complain! This is not a cheap or light weight book, they should have taken better care of it. At least get a partial refund!

Guys, thanks for respond. Here is SH answer: "We will still want you to be happy with your order and would like to offer you a £3.50 discount on this product should you wish to keep it.

Please advise whether this is acceptable?"
    What do you think?)
And here is Deadman Gallery from Bud's Art Books. Very pleased about packing cause they have great catalog of artist edition books and reasonable shipping cost

    £3,50 on a book of £85?!?! That's not even 5%.

yeah, that's ridiculous. They should offer like 20%. I remember picking up a paperback in Waterstones that had a bit of a corner dent and they offered me 15% off straight away, without hesitation, if I wanted to buy it. You should tell them that you want a pristine copy (but not paying for shipping) or a bigger refund because for the price you've paid they should have provided better packaging.

That said I just got an omnibus from Germany in a bloody jiffy bag but since it was advertised as used I didn't complain about it. Still, I couldn't believe it when I've seen it. 1000 pg Marvel omnibus in a jiffy bag....

As others have written, that's terrible. Sounds like my experience with SH. I kept pestering them on a couple of occasions when I got silly replies from them, until I got a complete refund or a replacement.
