but neither of these titles add to the JSA continuity. SMT is not even in the same universe.
I agree though that it's excellent but in my experience knowing the JSA ads to SMT because they sort of pop up in a story (haven't read all because of the state of the collected editions) but SMT doesn't inform any of the JSA titles.
Starman kinda intersects but other than Jack Knight doing stuff with the JSA it's not important to read Starman to enjoy or understand JSA.

And good luck collecting both of these....

I read The Sandman Mystery Theather first, well, as much as what's collected in TPBs at least, and it was fantastic. Afterwards when i read the Jack Knight and old Wesley Dodds team up in Starman, i had a blast. Who cares about continuity or universe. It feels connected never the less. Jack Knight was in The JSA for a while as well. He's on the spine of JSA Omnibus vol. 1 so Starman is connected. (I haven't read my JSA Omnibuses yet though just Sandman and Starman, and they are the reason why i like JSA)

I thought you are recommending Starman and SMT because they enhance the overall JSA reading experience. Like reading Hawkman along with JSA (which I just remembered). My bad.

But I agree that both worth a read (even though I've just sold my Starman run) just on their own merits. Probably even more so than the JSA titles.

Didn't read that one either. Did you like his Green Lantern too?

The beginning of JSA actually adds to SMT but not necessarily vice versa. Too bad we can’t get some SMT in omnibus collections. Great stuff but I guess it doesn’t sell.

Does Dark Horse ever reprint their library editions? I see a lot of the Buffy ones are out of stock everywhere.

I picked up Vol 1 of Buffy S8, and it is a 4th printing so you are definitely right, now the question becomes when they will get around to it.

Maybe soon....Maybe never. ...They've reprinted various Hellboy and Fear Agent a number of times if I'm not mistaken but never Sin City, although the latter received a "Big Damn" collection.

I don't post or even read board anymore, just don't have time but wanted to share what have I brought from my small vacation in Poland. Because of the weight limits couldn't get all my books, maybe next time.
