They're finally giving what the public and the fans demanded for years. Here's hoping they can pull off this impossible feat of true amazement.
God, I've missed this guy. Probably the only Convergence book I'll be getting and, well, anything else classic Supes will be appearing in.
I miss the guy too.
there is also supergirl on JL:

This is terrific news.
So should I file this story after the Reign of Doomsday in the pre52 universe? Or is it part of the New52 multiverse and should be filed under New52?
Can't wait to read this! I started reaching for my wallet before I even realized it's not out yet
I expected very little from this event, but the creative teams are awesome and even if it's only for two months, it's nice to have a throwback Superman. You see that sort of image and start remembering all those cool things from the character's past.
...Oh man, now I'm really starting to wish Weeks could go full time on a PC Superman comic.

Finally. Finally, I shall return to Superman. It's been a long time Supes, but I'm back.
I get the feeling I've read a version of this before...as an "Imaginary Story" or ELSEWORLDS.

It would be cool if they rounded out their little family with Chris Kent, fully returned from the Phantom Zone. That's the only part that gives me pause. I'll be getting this regardless, though.
