There's already a 30th anniversary MMPR reunion coming up which has all of the MMPRs except for Tommy, Jason, Trini and Kimberly, so it'll probably now be dedicated to him. Trini's actor Thuy Trang is also dead, so the special will introduce her daughter. Jason's actor Austin St John is in trouble with the feds and was unable to fly to New Zealand because his passport was confiscated. I don't know why Amy Jo Johnson and Jason David Frank aren't involved. Filming on it is done, it's in post-production and they're currently filming the show's next 10 episode season Cosmic Fury.

I didn’t want to believe it. JDF means so much to so many fans. He’s been the face of the franchise for nearly 30 years.

Rest In Power Jason David Frank. You meant so much to me and millions of others. Watching you everyday after school was always the highlight of my day. Thank you for the memories, inspiration and for bringing joy to so many lives. Be at peace and May The Power Protect You, always.

Speaking of which we are not clear why he passed. Aids/Hiv? Why conceal his privacy? Could it be murder within the family via a dispute? Suicide over something? 49 omgsh.

Suicide. He and his wife were having issues. And apparently one of his daughters committed suicide last year.

This is all so hard to accept. Power Rangers has been a part of my childhood since I watched reruns of the original show as a kid and my appreciation for the show's legacy really grew thanks to Dino Thunder.

Rest in peace, Jason David Frank. You will be missed dearly.

Hearing this on my phone today was unbelivable to realizes.

Jason David Frank was a Warrior threw-n-threw in my childhood, one of the coolest & strongest heroes you could grow up with, many of us want to be him. His impact can never be truly mesured, help to create a whole new gerne of Superhero & made Live Action heroes on a regular bases truly possible, I don't think we have the MCU & other live action heroes today as much if not for the work he put in.

The news on how he died to is even more hearbreaking, My Prays and Love go to him & those that loved Jason David Frank, espically his family & friends.

Shayla Frank is dead. She passed away on November 19, 2021. As per the available reports, she took her own life. A year has just completed since her death anniversary this past Saturday. Fans were concerned about the death of Jason David Frank’s daughter, Shayla Frank.

I met JDF about 3 times going to several cons. Really enthusiastic, funny, and just a overall good guy. He listened to the fans and was always happy to answer questions.

I had no idea about the loss of his stepdaughter or divorce. He didn't deserve that (well, nobody does)

Gets me bummed out thinking about the pain he must have been in during his final moments.

Tragically, JDF’s mother also died this year. Back in August.

We don’t know all the details of his private life. But from what we do know, he was understandably in a bad place.

TMZ just reported that his wife Tammie called the police around 5:00 am. She was concerned for his safety after the two had an argument in a hotel room. They were staying in separate rooms.
