Rest in peace, Mr Magasiva.
Rest in peace, Mr Magasiva.
Are they still planning to do another big Hollywood movie, or was that first one it?
Hope it's a soft reboot or something. The movie was okay, but only okay, kinda just meh, bland, and just there all wrapped into a somewhat boring package, and I'm not even particularly a PR fan, I imagine the people who wanted it to look more Power Rangers-y was a bit more disappointed too. But it wasn't bad enough to require a complete overhaul either.
I was stunned reading about Pua passing this morning. NS is the most relatable to me because of how laid back the rangers were and till this day I'll always say arguably had the best actors. Since geek culture is more acceptable nowadays, if anyone I knew or met showed interest in PR I would always recommend NS because it is the most palatable. Pua had a major major hand in its enjoyability. RIP.
Magasiva's co-stars Jason Chan (Cam), Glenn McMillan (Dustin), and Adam Tuominen (Hunter) have paid their tribute to him.
