    Default Cover contest november 13 - 19

Since we (mankind) just landed a probe on a comet this weeks theme is...In Outer Space
    Use your imagination.

Post one (and only one) cover that fits the theme of this week's contest.
Cover must be from a published comic book or collected volume.
If you don't think a particular cover fits the theme, just don't vote for it. No need to argue it out in the thread. Nothing sucks the fun out of a game like rules-lawyering.
Covers must be posted before voting begins.
Voting begins 12 AM Tuesday and runs until 12 AM Wednesday PST.
Vote by posting the name in bold of the poster whose cover best fits the theme or that you simply like the most.
The winner of the contest is the entrant with the most votes after the voting period.

    And have fun!

Here is my cover for the week.

I was digging around for an Al Williamson cover, but then I remembered this Jose Luis Garcia-Lopez beauty:

Still probably my favorite design concept for a series' covers.

This cover has always been a level above the rest for me. Inspiring stuff.

May have been the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one.

I love this just for Bob Larkin's complete fanboy nerdery.

(Because it's an homage to James Bama, younger people....)
You can find a bunch of books I wrote stories for here. The weekly column is here.
