Good to know. Thanks. I’m really looking forward to the Claremont penned issue.

So I don't know if this is the right thread but here goes: Why did X-Men Unlimited get cancelled? Wasn't that a book where any writer could come on and write a one shot or 2 parter w lesser known characters that didn't get much panel time? I feel like it would be good to bring back. And if they worry about sales put one or two A-list xmen to interact or have an adventure w lesser known characters. If that makes sense. It would work for a lot of the characters we would like to see.

We might be getting our wish, to a certain degree, with the new Marvel Comics Presents.

Emma Frost FTW. The writing was amazing, and anything Chris Bachalo illustrates is epic. Wish he would come back to a flagship X-Book.

Me too. He’s one of those artists who just screams it’s an X-book.

Quoted for truth. I was just wondering, given his work on Gen X and his many stints on the core books, plus some satellite miniseries, could Chris Bachalo now be the X-Men's most prolific artist of all time? I believe he's a serious contender for the highest number of X-books ever drawn.

He’s definitely up there. He’s certainly one of whom I still enjoy, every time he comes back. I’d love to see Pacheco back on the book too. Especially if he were being inked by Merino again. Or to give us that Joe Mad style nostalgia, maybe have him on adjectiveless, with Kelly or Zac Thompson writing the book.

For me Bachalo takes the cake. His style is just so dynamic that he breathes life into anything he touches. Watching his evolution from the early days on
Gen X, to now is just a joy to see unfold, his layouts are mesmerizing. I would love to see Chris Bachalo & Mike Carey work together again.

Yes, can't forget about MAD! Astonishing X-Men from the AOA is still my favorite team line-up to this day.

Bachalo is without a doubt one of the greats. I love the raw energy of his more recent work, it can be borderline chaotic at times but if you stick with you gut while following the page you'll be wowed when everything snaps into place.

I have never been able to read through a Joe Mad comic. He has all the energy, but none of the cohesion of Bachalo.
Continuity, even in a "shared" comics universe is often insignificant if not largely detrimental to the quality of a comic.

Ugh. I meant to mention Geraldo Sandoval when I was talking about Joe Mad. Chalk that up to things not to post about before going to bed.

I’m still getting caught up. I’ll amend some of my choices before voting ends though.

but on the other hand, nineties garbage.
