Anyone here good at birding? There's a new hawk hanging around my neighborhood. I can't tell if it's an immature cooper's or an immature sharp-shinned.
Only have a couple shitty photos, this being the best of them

I'm sure you've had some pretty cool birds around you both, and you just never notice d. Even super dense metros like NYC have peregrine falcons living in buildings, and all kinds of migrants filtering through during migration. Of all wildlife, birds are one of the easiest to see, and most gratifying in terms of biodiversity in anthropogenic areas. Look up some time. Or on a phone tower near a highway. Raptors love casually hanging out in the open.

Oh, and they do lots of interesting things. For example, right after I took that photo the hawk was mobbed by the resident crow family.

I have a question for the all things X-Men experts here. On the last page of Ultimate Comics X-Men #32 December 2013, who is the guy in the yellow shirt with the beard standing next to Colossus? Is that supposed to be Alex Summers with black hair and a beard? or some other guy? Thanks.

Blackheath is in the black jacket standing next to storm. Warpath is standing right behind Zero. The only guy I can't figure out on the entire page is the bearded guy in the yellow shirt standing next to Colossus who is wearing the red shirt. Originally Posted by pixie_solanas
